Our process

Initial Consultation: Stonemasons Whakatane will meet with you and or your whanau to discuss your preferences, budget, and any specific requirements.
Selecting the Stone: Choose the type of stone (e.g., granite, marble), color, texture, and size that best suits your needs and reflects the personality of your loved one.
Designing Inscriptions: Stonemasons Whakatane will work with you to design the inscriptions for the headstone, including the name of the deceased, birth and death dates, and any additional text or symbols desired.
Quote: A quote will be sent to you inclduing the cost of material, resources and disbursements and or installation required. Once you confirm the quote, a job number is confirmed.
Approvals: Review and approve the design proof and inscription before production begins to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
Production: The design will produce the headstone according to the approved design, at our Whakatane workshop.
Installation: Once the headstone is ready, it will be installed at the chosen burial site or made available for you or the whanau to collect.
Maintenance and Care: Whakatane Stonemasons will provide guidance on how to care for and maintain the headstone to preserve its beauty and integrity over time.
